aaj vo ajnabi ban rah gaya
jisko kabhi kisi vastu ki kami na hui
aaj vohi apni saanse bhi gin-ne laga
sannate aur ghutan se bhar gayi kutiya
ek khaufnaak haveli ban gayi...
rang birangi deewarein kis kaaran phiki pad gayi
melo se bhari duniya mein khamoshi kyun chhaane lagi
vo pyar bhari, maasoom muskaan, kis mod par kho gayi
hawa ka bahaav ruk sa raha hai...
samay bhi aage nahi badh raha
badlo ne tairna chhodkar barkha ko bhi rok liya
in raaho par akele chal, dhoop bhi satati hai
paseena bahay, pyaas badhay, aur dil ko bhi jalati hai
